The PHEST exhibitions at Locus 2018
At Locorotondo from the 26th of July to the 19th of August, the Locus festival hosts three exhibitions supplied by PhEST, an international festival of photography and art.
The third edition of PhEST – See Beyond the Sea, the international festival of photography and art, will be held in Monopoli (BA) from 6th of September to 4th of November 2018. But the yellow of PhEST will begin to show up in Puglia well before, with three “spot” exhibitions set up during the summer hosted by a special partner: the Locus Festival, with the technical and organizational support of the Tre Ruote Ebbro Association.
Starting from July 26th, PhEST will bring to Locorotondo three exhibitions taken from the previous editions of the festival: Alejandro Chaskielberg‘s The Walking Trees, whose olive trees immortalized last year will take root on the ancient steps of Via San Michele Arcangelo in external, while the exhibition Diagnosis by Emile Ducke will be exhibited in the interactive museum “Perle di Memoria” inside the complex of Sant’Anna di Renna in Locorotondo, via dei Templari, until 5 August.
From 9 to 19 August, Ducke will give his place to the show Albania – A homecoming by Enri Canaj, protagonist instead of the first edition of PhEST in 2016.
The exhibitions will be open to the public from Thursday to Sunday, from 17.00 to 21.00.
